QTCF.dll - "The program can't start because QTCF.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this issue"

    Follow

Problem: Starry Night will not execute because the QTCF.dll is not located in the right Quicktime folder.

Solution #1:  Right-click the Starry Night app and choose "Run as admin".  If that does not work go to #2.

Solution #2: Move the QTCF.dll file from QTSystem folder to  sysWOW32 or SysWOW64 folder.  Note, you must move the file.  Do not copy it.  See images attached.

    Relevant Directories:

    - C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem (or C:\Program Files\QuickTime\QTSystem if Program Files (x86) doesn't exist)

    - C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (or C:\Windows\SysWOW32 if SysWOW64 doesn't exist)

Thanks! That work perfectly! What caused it was downloading Quicktime... the RealPlayer told me I needed Quicktime to watch a video, so I downloaded it and then the download & mp3 conversion functions in RealPlayer stopped working.  Everything is working just fine now!

      Can anyone help?

Since I installed StarryNight Enthusiast V6.

My copy of StarryNight PRO V6 has also stopped working.

The QTCF.dll file is missing from both programs. My XP has no sysWOW64 file.
