Cannot link to Nexstar GPS with SkyQ link and

    As per our discussion on cloudy nights concerning the problem using the SkyQ link on my Nexstar GPS 11.

    The error message if I select celestron wireless under scope type:

    "SkySafari Pro can make a wireless network connection to the scope, but the scope in not  responding.  Make sure it is connected and powered on.  Also check that your scope type is correct."

    When attempting to connect with Skyportal app I get the same message as above except it says Skyportal instead of SkySafari.

    The error message if I select Nextar GPS/SLT/SE or Celestron CPC series under scope type:

    SkySafari Pro can't make a wireless network connection to the scope.  Make sure you've joined its Wi-Fi network, and entered its IP address correctly.

    Using the COSMOS app, I can connect and control the scope without difficulty.
