SkySafari 6 Pro Starts Slow, More Than 20 Seconds, On MacOS Big Sure (Is Anyone Else Experiencing This?)

Since some time SkySafari 6 Pro starts very slowly on my Macs (desktop + laptop running Big Sur).

I unchecked SkySafari from the System Preferences / Security & Privacy but it didn't help.

Starry Night Pro Plus 8 opens immediately.

  You could try reinstalling the app.  Likely, the slow start is related to recent security updates for Big Sur.

  Hi Keiron !

  I trashed my version and reinstall SkySafari on my desktop : no change and SkySafari 6 Pro keeps bouncing for half a minute.

  Interestingly SkySafari opens normally on my laptop.

  Both are running under macOS 11.7.1.
