Has Support Ended For Starry Night Pro Plus 8 (Answer: Read On!)

It has not been updated for over a year.  The data base does not have the most significant observations like Bluewalker 3.  Questions about it goes unanswered.  No betas are available.

    I am left to infer, from the total lack of any responses regarding question of the support status for Starry Night Pro Plus 8, that apparently support has ended.  Although it is still being sold without the caveat that it is not supported.

    Support has not ended for Starry Night 8, but at this time developers are locked into other priorities.

    Any update for Starry Night 8 will not be forthcoming before 2nd quarter of 2023.

    Starry Night 8 looks like it is an abandoned product. Meanwhile, The Sky from Bisque is not abandoned and as such maybe switching to the Sky is the only way I will ever get support.  I bet when you do finally come out with a update, it will have a new version number and you will charge us for the very delayed update.  I suggest you charge people $195 to $395 in that way switching will be cost effective.

    Having purchased a license over a year ago, I haven't used the software much. Just too many bugs, errors and instabilities. I now fully understand why no time limited evaluation version is available. Very disappointed, given the stellar quality of SkySafari.

    I am tired of waiting for the next security update.  Last update was about three years ago.  In the IT world, that means it has died.  I cannot think of any successful product surviving this long without a shred of support.  I am moving over to SkyX from Bisque.

    Can you spare a minute?

    I'm using Starry Night Pro Plus 8 v. 8.1.1.2078 leEM

    On MacTorrents download page I have found: Starry Night Pro Plus 8.1.2.2254 beta macOS

    Can anyone verify this as a legitimate download, and if so, is there any reason to believe there will be a final version in the future.

    Starry Night is only officially available via our store.

    There is no beta better than the release version.

    There is no official torrent of Starry Night - this is software piracy.
