Please consider these suggestions for MacOS and iOS:

1) I would like to sort Tonight's Best, Messier and Caldwell by object type.

2) Please add a DSO Legend to the documentation or program.

  1. We can consider sorting by object type.

  2. Are you talking about the symbols on the chart or the thumbnail icons used in the lists?

  We do use what are considered standard symbols created by Will Tirion of Sky Atlas 2000 fame.  They are also used by Sky & Telescope and many other apps.  Nevertheless I will see if we can add a legend.  Thanks for the suggestion.

  I've been promoting SkySafari to several of my neighbors who are new to astronomy. FYI, they have no clue re standard symbols. Thanks!!!
