Using StarFi with my iOptron CEM60 with Ascom mount control I get a time zone change when I first execute a move through my iPad. Thus my settings has Daylight Savings checked and zone as -300 but after a move with the iPad the time zone is changed on the mount to -240.

SkySafari doesn't use ASCOM so I think that is irrelevant. When you say a "move" do you mean a GoTo or are you moving it via the slew buttons?
I assume you chose the "iOptron CEM/iEQ Pro/AZ Mount Pro" scope type?
You might need to contact iOptron about this. We don't have a StarFi and it is not something we claim compatibility with.
