Unfortunately, the app stores do not have any provision for upgrade pricing so we cannot do that at this time.

well it would make sense to make the provision would it not? I have just paid for the cheap version but have the very same question. after trying the cheap version I would like to upgrade. Seems rather divisive form of money grabbing not to offer the upgrade for the difference in price. I would or will look else where I imagine many other people will do the same. Custom lost after all its not rocket science is it. Down load the full version of choice for a lower price after registering. So do you plan on making the provision soon?

    Keith,

As I said, the App Stores do not allow upgrade pricing.  We would have to do it manually by sending you a check or Paypal.  However, there is no way you can prove to us that you purchased the app.  Apple doesn't provide customer names or emails to us.

The only way we know to do this is to have a free app called "SkySafari" and you upgrade to basic, Pro or Plus via an in app purchase.  We are considering this route for SkySafari 6.

We really have thought about this for 8 years and there is no simple way to do it.

Im curious . Saw the Sky Safari Plus on sale till today.

Can you save and import ,share observing lists between a device running SkySafari5 plus and a device running SkySafari5 pro?

For SkySafari 5, automatic cloud syncing only works across similar levels (Plus will sync with Plus and Pro with Pro).  This is expected to change in the next major SkySafari release.

Pro is also on sale at half price ($20).
