I have the Pro version of Sky Safari and am not receiving notifications on Planet risings consistently on my iPhone 6s.
I am not getting sunrise, moonrise or and of the planets on a consistent basis.
I have notifications turned on in both the application and the phone setup. I only have planets turn on in the software and do not have satellites turned on
The do not disturb is turned off for both the phone and application.
SkySafari only schedules notifications for 2 days in advance (it is a somewhat time consuming calculation). So if you have not run the app in a couple of days, you will stop receiving notifications. Could that be what is happening?
Thanks Bill, it could be. I will run it for a few days and to determine. If I understand the issue I need to open the application at least once per day.
Is there anything specific I need to do to ensure the updates are loaded?
No, you need to open the app every 2 days. Nothing else is needed. We automatically update the notifications whenever the app is brought to the front.
