Big issue on acer Iconia one 8"

After installation on acer Iconia one 8"  and then start,it just freeze in one minute or two.
it remains so also after a reboot.
have waited for about 30 minutes (more or less) to get message "app not responding".
have reinstalled 7-
8 times but now I just dont know if there is some hope.

Later have realised that I can keep the application alive if I constantly move arround the sky.But the sky is completely black , no stars.Looks like a graphic problem...

    Not sure what is going on. Some questions:

    1. What version of Android are you running?

    2. Which SkySafari version (basic, Plus or Pro)?  This is SkySafari 5 we are talking about, right?

    3. Are you sure you have enough space on your internal SD card?

    Could you try uninstalling, rebooting your device and then reinstalling?

    Yes sorry, some technical data:

    I have Android 6, SkySafary 5 Pro, 16GB on internal card (new tablet purchased today).

    Have reinstalled all afternoon , at the end have put in an SD card, again no success.


    Have also found out this:

    The app freezes, but if I clean the data in Apps->Clear Data,  the app starts normaly but again after a minute freezes again.

    Also there are no stars, only the menu and system data.

    Did you reboot before installing?

    After installing, use a file manager to go to the following location on the internal SD card (not the removable card).


    There should be a file there called

    Do you see it.  This has all the star data etc.

    Ok. Reboot, new installation.

    first in the folder Android/obb/com.simulationcurriculum.skysafari5pro

     there was

    and  after installation finished was renamed to main.5320....

    Have started the application and freeze again.
