SiTech | SkySafari GoTo Slews Scope In Opposite Direction (Answer: Look For Motor Control Setting)

I have tried hard to find a solution to my problem everywhere, to no avail. I am using Skysafari on an iPad with the Sitech II Controller. I do everything like in the manual to set up the scope. It connects flawlessly, I align the scope with a star fine. But whenever I want to goto to another star, the scope slews into the exact opposite direction, like in a mirror. What is wrong? Does the scope think it is pointing west, when in reality it is pointing east? How do I tell the scope which way it is pointing. This easy in Sitech.exe when using Windows, but how do I tell the scope it is pointing to the east in iOS? Or is there another reason?
After having tried the whole night to solve this mystery, I am giving up and go to bed, hoping that you found the solution when I wake up again.

Kind regards and thanks
Heinz, Tokyo

The SiTech is a strange system.  I think there is a motor setting to control the direction.  This works fine for some folks setup and not for others.  You might ask on a SiTech forum.

When trying to align to Polaris the scope goes 180degrees away

I really would encourage you to ask about this on a SiTech forum (or ask the manufacturer).  There is some setting in the SiTech setup that should control this.
