I have this app on my Imac I5 running Mavericks.
Just recently the app started taking about 2 minutes to open.
When I first downloaded it, it opened in a few seconds.
No other apps have this issue.
What could have caused this issue?

Hi Fred,
We heard reports of this before. The slow load is related to OS X Gatekeeper. We can't do anything about it at this time, but we will review it when we develop SS6 for OS X.
Our testing showed that despite the slow load once running SS5 performs as expected, without issues. Is that what you find too, that the issue is really restricted to the initial load time?

SS5 Pro works just fine once it is open.
I also have it on my Iphone and Ipad and they work fairly well.
I enjoy using the app and hope soon to have my new mount controller set up and controlled by SS 5 Pro.
I will investigate the gatekeeper to see if there is a way to shut it off.
