[Feature Request] Any plan to support bluetooth gamepad joystick with variable proportional speed?

I know this topic was briefly discussed 4 years ago At that moment it only mentioned adding buttons to the touchscreen. Now I would like to have an analog proportional joystick so you can have a range of speed just by moving more or less the joystick in any direction. I find changing the speed and then pushing buttons again in a touchscreen cumbersome. Using a joystick for panning a region at different speeds with the tip of your thumb should be much more intuitive. Hope it could be implemented. Best wishes

  This would be an awesome feature.

  Currently I use my laptop, the cpwi software allows the use of an Xbox controller, left stick controlls the scope and right stick controlls the celestron focuser. If SN7 supports this it would allow me to leave the laptop at home.

  Just piling on to this request. Manual slewing is the only thing that's really a chore with SkySafari. It's the only reason I'm keeping the original hand controller around, and even that is kind of klugey as OP mentioned.
