Why Have The Time And Date Picker Wheels Disappeared? (Fixed In Latest Update)

I have Sky Safari Pro 6 (Version 6.8.0.15) on my iPhone and my IPad.  A few days ago I noticed a problem with the version on my iPad.  When I tap on Settings>Date & Time, the "picker wheels" that allow me to quickly dial a date or time have disappeared.  My screen is dark where the wheels used to appear.  Although the picker wheels have disappeared, if I top on the daily pre-sets such as Sunset, Moonset, Dusk End, etc. the app will change to the appropriate time.  Otherwise, the only way I can set a different date or time is under the Advanced tab.  This is affecting only my iPad, not my iPhone.  Other than deleting and re-installing the app, do you have any suggestions how to restore the picker wheels to the Date and Time screen?  This problem is found only on my iPad, the same version of Sky Safari works correctly on my iPhone.  

The iPad is an older model with version 9.3.5 operating system that says I'm up to date.  The iPone has version 14.4.1 operating system.

    Presently until bug is fixed the picker will be only visible when your iOS device is set to Dark Mode. iOS 9.3.5 doesn’t have the Dark Mode setting option. Your iPhone shows the picker  because your iPhone Display & Brightness setting is in Dark Mode.

    Dear Mr. Bluhm:

    Thank you.  You are right.  When I changed my phone from dark to light mode, the same problem appeared on the phone's copy of SS 6 Pro 6.8.0.15 as well.  When I went back to dark mode, the problem went away. Looks like for now I'll have to either use my phone over my iPad, or use the Advanced tab on the iPad until the bug is fixed (soon, I hope).

    Hi John,

    There is good news and bad news. The good is the newly released update SS6Pro 6.8.2 will fix the issue for your iPhone in Light Mode.

    The bad news is the update does not fix the older iPad iOS 9.3.5 version .

    Hi Garry- Is 6.8.3.0 just available on iOS? I'm on 6.8.1.5 on Android still but will check my iPhone.
