Date & Time picker Not Visible After Update To SS6Pro 6.8.2. (Fixed In Latest Update)

The newly released update of SS6Pro to 6.8.2.2 has fixed the Date&Time picker for my iPadPro iOS14.4.2, which has the display settings of Light or Dark Mode.

The issue still remains on my old 2nd gen iPad with iOS 9.3.6. This iPad & iOS doesn’t have a Light or Dark Mode display setting.

Checked an iPad Mini iOS 12.5.2 with SS6Pro 6.8.2.2 and it too has the Date &Time picker that is not visible. It appears that this bug is only present in iOS prior to iOS 13 when Dark mode was first introduced.

  Thank you, Gary.

  I was so looking forward to the latest update, and was disappointed to see it didn't change things for me on my ipad.  Are there plans to correct this issue to restore the picker wheels for owners of older ipads?  Mine is running on ios 9.3.5.  

  Sky safari on my ipad has replaced all other planetarium programs I have for planning future sessions, and now the inconvenience of having to use the Advanced tab instead of the picker wheels to change time and date is frustrating.

  John,

  Until this bug gets fixed here is a suggestion for you as a workaround.

  On iPhone SS6Pro toolbar at bottom select Observe icon>Planner to create a list of objects.

  Next select Make Into Observing List>Done.

  Toolbar at bottom select Observe icon>Observing List>find list you created “Search Results”

  Select Edit to name the list created>End Edit

  Select Actions&Settings>Email Observing List (be patient this could take5-10sec)> email to yourself.

  On iPad open the Email>tap the xxxxx.skylist button and import into SS6Pro.

  FYI, only difference between iOS 9.3.5 & 9.3.6 is the latter is for iPads with  built in cellular data/sim card.

  Here are photos I took of my Settings screen for Date and for Time, showing there are no picker wheels visible.  My ipad runs on ios 9.3.5.

  Thanks everyone for pointing out the bug still persists for older devices with older versions of iOS.  Here is a bit more info I hope the developers can use.

  The missing picker wheels issue is present for Sky Safari 6 Basic and Pro on my devices since the January 2021 Sky Safari 6 updates.  Issue also present on the Celestron SkyPortal version based on SS6. 

  I am including a set of screen captures of the issue for SS 6.8.2.2 Pro on older 32 bit iPad running iOS 10.3.3, regular display mode and the "Night vision mode" selected from within the SS 6 Pro app (NOT to be confused with the iOS "Night" mode introduced in iOS 13).  Same missing picker wheel issue on older iPod running iOS 12.5.2.
