No matter what selections are made zero objects are found when using Skysafari 7.1.9 pro observation planner on iPad or iPhone with iOs 16.5.
On both iPad and iPhone, Skysafari 6 plus observation planner works well.

Same here on my iPhone.
I can not reproduce this issue.
Please, each of you, create a screen recording showing how you use the planner, the objects selected for search, and the results.
Share the recording via DropBox, Google Drive, WeTransfer or other file sharing service.
Thank!
Thanks for getting back to this. I shared a 20 sec video showing the behaviour on my iPhone here.
Thanks, Wouter
I just tried with SkySafari Pro 6 on my MacBook and with both SkySafari 6 Pro and 7 Pro on my iPad. There, the planner works. If I only select Open Clusters and leave everything else at their default values, I find lots of objects. But on my iPhone I keep on finding 0, no matter what I try.

Keirin, thanks formulier quick reply and quick action on the scope connect issue, very good customer service. On MacBook Pro M1, iPad Air 4 and iPhone X, in observation planner I first reset all, than I choose select star and all constalations, zero objects found. If I select all objects than I notice the search takes longer but still no objects found. If I select current location and bright nebulae nothing is found, selecting any location and 1408 are found.
With SkySafari 6plus it works perfect on iPad.
Please, each of you, provide the following info for the app on which planner does not work:
App and version. See Help > scroll to the bottom.
iOS version.
iOS device(s)
Also, I'm going to ask, if you have't yet done so, please try reinstall the app.
Thanks!
7.2.0 (1096) is now available. Please reinstall to update the app.
Skysafari pro 7.2.0 (1096) on all devices below
iPad Air 4 iPadOS 16.5
MacBook Pro M1 macOS Ventura 13.4
iPhone X iOS 16.5
Reinstalling did the trick for me on my iPhone 14 Pro with the latest and greatest iOS. For me it is working on all my Apple devices now.
Thank you Gerrit, please let me know if reinstalling makes any difference.
Reinstalling is not solving the problem. Selected location in planner might have something to do with it.
Current location always gives zero objects found. Any location finds the selected objects, fe globular clusters.
What is your current location set to?
An excellent result, Wouter!
Lochem, Netherlands.
I have tried several locations, also Minnetonka (MN), always zero objects found, except when I select “Any location” than objects are found.
Gerrit, please try reinstall on all your devices and let me know what happens.
Reinstalling worked for Wouter.
Unfortunately does not work for me. I will try again in a few days, maybe App Store in the Netherlands does not have latest update?
Gerrit, it looks like you already installed the latest version. I am on 7.2.0 (1096) on iOS 16.5 and reinstalling did fix this for me. Sorry that it doesn't seem to work for you.

Found a solution that works for me. In observing planner under visible, I have to choose a “specific time range”, instead of “Tonight”. Selecting the “specific time range” I wish to observe this night works well, selecting “Tonight” no objects are found. No idea why “Tonight” is not working but the above solution is fine for me. Thanks for your quick reply and support.
Gerrit,
It is nice to have a workaround, but really should just work.
And, what happens if you choose "On Any Date"?
Have you reinstalled on all devices? And still works on none?
I have reinstalled on all devices and using “Tonight” still no objects found on any device.
Both “On any date” and “Specific Time Range” do work, same result on all 3 devices.
What time is “Tonight” using? Can it have something to do with time zones?
How did you choose your current "home" location?
In settings “use current location”
Gerrit, I am in the same timezone as you and for me it works now.
