I Bought SkySafari 7 Pro For The iPad, So How Come It Doesn't Show Up As Purchased In The Mac App Store On My Mac Mini M1? (Answer: Read On!)

I'll have to buy it again, is that right?

    Hi Cicero,

Did you try clicking the button to see if it triggers the system to recognize the other purchase?  It could be a laggy system response that is fixed by triggering the purchase confirmation prompt.  Please feel free to provide screenshots to assist us in troubleshooting.

    Thanks,
    Matt

Hi Matthew. . Here are screenshots from the iPad and Mac Mini. And my fear is that when confirming the purchase on the Mac Mini, it ends up being automatically charged to the credit card, instead of finally recognizing the purchase made on the iPad.

And here's the screenshot after I clicked on "BUY APP" (on MacOS I changed the language from Portuguese to English now).

    Cicero,

If you previously purchased SS7 for iOS/iPadOS you will not be charged again when "purchasing" in the Mac App Store.

Please don't worry, just try to buy it.

    Thanks!

In the Mac App Store, you must be signed into the same user account that you used to purchase SS7 on iOS/iPadOS.

Provided you're signed in, using the same account on both you iOS device and MacBook, you will not be charged again.

In fact! When I bought it, a notice appeared that I would not have to pay, since I had purchased SkySafari 7 Pro for another device (iPad).

    Thank you very much Keiron!
