Why Is The Main Toolbar Showing Different Buttons In Portrait Vs Landscape? (Answer: Configure The Toolbar Via Settings)

Can’t understand how to return to current object selection in portrait mode. When in landscape mode, there’s a selection icon finger but can’t find it in portrait mode. Please advise.
