How Come Mac App Store Wants Me To Buy SkySafari 6 Again? (Answer: Download And Install Via Your Purchased Apps Category - Read On!)

Trying to open SkySafari 6 Pro results in "File damaged. Please delete and download again from App Store".
After deleting, going to App Store: Buy for €44,99 !?!? What??

Before deleting, I checked in App Store, and at that point it showed "Open". In other words, it did know that I owned SkySafari 6 Pro.

System: MacOS Ventura

    SkyCat,

Please look in your Mac App Store > Account Profile > Mac Apps

All previously purchased apps are always available for download again.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, but that is exactly the problem; SkySafari 6 Pro is NOT in that overview. SF5 Pro is, but SF 6 Pro is missing.
I can’t remember how I purchased it before; via the App Store ot via your website. Nevertheless, the App Store did recognize my app before deleting.

I did send a message to Apple. I do not know where the problem is; SkySafari or the App Store

There was a temporary issue last week where SkySafari was not available in the App Store for re-download.

However, it has been reported the issue is now resolved.  We changed nothing.  The issue was with Apple.

    Please check again.

    Thanks!

Update after speaking to Apple support:

Apparently my SkySafari 6 Pro was refunded a year ago, so I did no longer "own" the app. That caused the message "...SS6 is damaged...".
Honestly I do not recall ever asking for a refund, but I can also not say that I did NOT ask for it. I just don't remember, and there is no logging or reason for the refund in the Apple admin.

So at this point all is clear: nothing wrong with the SkySafari 6 Pro app, and the reason App Store is asking me to purchase again is now also clear.
