[Scope Control]* Toggling Night Vision Button Disconnects Scope (Solution: Fix In Next Update)

Hi

My skysafari 7 pro is installed on a Samsung tablet with android ver.11.

My telescope can be connected either with Bluetooth or wifi.

Tapping on night vision, disconnects communication.

It has been OK since purchasing the app. a few months ago.

I have tried to uninstall and install the app. twice, but the same problem.

I have skysafari 6 pro and skysafari 7 plus and the issue does not apear there.

Thanks

sam

    Samuel,

    1. In SS7 Pro Help > scroll to the bottom > what version are you using?
    2. In SS7 Plus Help > scroll to the bottom > what version are you using?
    3. Is SS7 Plus running on the same Samsung tablet with Android 11?
    4. What scope are you connected to?
    5. Does SS7 Pro Night Vision mode disconnect both a WiFi and a Bluetooth telescope connection?  Please confirm.

    Thanks!

    Hello Keiron.
I made all the tests again and here are the results :
1.In SS7 Pro Help > scroll to the bottom > what version are you using?
    Answer : 7.1.8.0
2.In SS7 Plus Help > scroll to the bottom > what version are you using?
    Answer: 7.1.4.0.
3.Is SS7 Plus running on the same Samsung tablet with Android 11?
    Answer : Yes.
4.What scope are you connected to?
Answer: When using Bluetooth,it is Argo navis connected to , Sitech.
When using wifi,it is Nexus dsc connected to Sitech.
5.Does SS7 Pro Night Vision mode disconnect both a WiFi and a Bluetooth telescope connection?
    Answer : Yes.
I would like to emphasize that after rechecking  the system,I found out that when connecting on "daylight",connection is established while changing to night vision,it disconnects and vice-versa, when connecting on night vision, connecting is established ,while changing to "daylight" connection is disconnected.
The same applies when Sitech is phisically  disconnected.
Another fenomenon I would like to to tell you is, with SS7 plus, in opposed to what I told you, I could not check it with Bluetooth ,since when tapping on "select device" it returns to the main window of the tablet.
The same phenomena happens  with my smartphone which runs on Android too.
I may send you the log file of my SS7 pro if you give me the address.
I have been working with SS7 Pro at least for one year and it has worked flawlessly.
Only on my last starparty(last Saturday ),this phenomenon appeared.
    I hope you can help.
    Sincerely
    Sam

I have downloaded the the beta version -7.1.9.1 ,but it still disconnects communication when changing from  normal vision to night  mode and vice versa.

    My android version is 14.

It was checked under "Demo interface" this time.

    Thanks

I get the same issue on my device when using the demo scope. I can try later today connected to my scope. Would you like a log, too?

    Delete the app.

In the Play Store app listing, scroll to the bottom, join the beta.

Make sure you're backed up using LiveSky first.

    Thanks!

    Hi keiron

I did what you told me to,with SS7 plus.

My beta version is still 7.1.9.1.
