I need to purchase a SkyFi unit to control our 10" Meade LX200 in our observatory at Slumber Falls Camp. We had a unit a number of years ago but during a transition in ownership of the camp, the SkyFi unit went missing. I went to the website to get the current price for purchase and found that the SkyFi unit is sold out. When will it be back in stock? Can you at least provide a price for the current unit.

Woody Good question! I bought mine from OPT years ago. OPT is gone and just now I couldn't find a single dealer in the US that sells the SkyFi. Not just out of stock, but no dealers even appear to ever sell them. A couple had serial adapter cables for SkyFi, but that was it.
Hopefully somebody from Simulation Curriculum will reply -- and let you know when they'll be available again. But with so many mount manufacturers now including built-in WiFi, maybe the market for these is gone. I hope not. They're still very useful devices.

Keiron Smith Charles, Woody,
SkyFi 3 is indeed out of stock.
Matt Hjelle can comment on the future of SkyFi 3.

Charles Stark Thanks for the feedback. Yes I do hope they will be able to provide some units in the near future. There are a lot of older scopes like ours out there. I even tried Ebay looking for used ones and no luck there either.

Charles Stark Keiron Smith how do I make contact with Matthew Hjelle? I really need to know if there will be any more SkyFi units produced.

I guess that's why I got mine on sale in July.
