I'm a night photographer who relies on your software for a variety of things, including satellite IDs. In observing and then explaining highest-orbit Starlink satellite flares, I was able to use SS6+ to accurately show what I captured, and address people who think they saw 'UFOs'. Apparently you have made an update to SkySafari and Starlink satellites are no longer shown. I understand why you may have done this (there are so many!!!), but it goes against what you are trying to provide, that is, deciphering the night sky for the masses. Please consider returning visibility of Starlink in your app, or at least design a toggle where people can turn them on/off as desired.

Dean I wonder if that only affects the SkySafari plus and below versions? I just checked the pro version and I still see 4966 starlink satellites listed.

Jeff Warner Sure would be nice if someone from Support would actually respond to this. I cannot even confirm whether there has been a change, or that they are only visible in the Pro version (I do not believe this to be the case).
Is this a bug that I'm no longer seeing them, or intended behavior?

Keiron Smith Searching "Starlink" brings up a list in Pro. Stalink should be available in Plus too. If this is not the case we'll get it fixed.

Keiron Smith I find Starlink in Plus too. Please update your minor body orbit data.

Keiron Smith Developers will review whether anything needs to be fixed, and/or how many should be downloaded and available via search.

Keiron Smith If you don't see any Starlink please also try reinstalling the app.

Jeff Warner I can search Starlink and it does bring up a *limited* list, I believe of only the latest 1647 satellites. If you click one it will show that one, but graphically all the Starlink satellites are NOT shown. Both macOS (web) and iOS versions behave similarly.

Jeff Warner I just tried searching on a couple of 'older' Starlink satellites, they do not show up in results field. In fact, it appears to be showing only recently-launched satellites that are still ascending to their operational orbits.

Jeff Warner Updating minor body data had no effect.
