What File Pathway Should Be Used For A Custom Horizon.png Using SkySafari 7 Pro On MacOS, M1? (Answer: /Users/Username/Library/Containers/SkySafari Pro/Data/Documents - Read On!)

I have been using the SkySafari Pro iPad app on my MacBook Air without any issues. Today, I want to load my horizon.png file, but I don't know where to save it. Can you advise me on where to place it on my MacBook air?

It would be helpful if I could save the Horizon file along with my settings. Idea for the next update. (limitation of max 6 png files to save space)

    Chris,

    1. Does the panorama in question work properly on SkySafari on iOS?
    2. What version of SkySafari?
    3. What version of MacOS?

    Thanks!

    the answers

    1. Yess

    2.  SkySafari versionn 7.3.1

    3. Apple M1 Sonoma 14.1

I discovered now while writing this I miss also the  + and -  (see other request) buttons at the right, and the window is not sizeable

Button UI can be configured in the Settings > Appearance and Behaviour options.

The window can be resized by either dragging the corner, or using the green 'maximize' button.

Please share the panorama with me using a file sharing service link from DropBox, Google Drive, or something similar.

    Thanks!

Sorry for the late reaction. Zoom buttons were found.

I understand what you mean for resizing, but that is not working dragging the corners on my M1. But the green dot is working.

How can I share that with which name? But in general, where do I place the file on my Macbook Air M1? Because that's the aim on iPhone and iPad, I can move the files in the Skysafari directory, and then I can select the horizon. but I have no idea where to place the file

Minor update, I found the position where to place the file

    /Users/Username/Library/Containers/SkySafari Pro/Data/Documents

This is working, now. The only open issue is

resizing dragging via the corners is still not working.

    Chris,

I see, on the M1, the window is not resizable via dragging the corner.  I'm not sure if I'm misremembering or perhaps this is the way it has always been.

    Thanks for pointing this out.

I hope you find the issue. That would be great; I will also check from my site if I can find something.
