How Come I See Black Stars? (Answer: Reinstall The Software - Read On!)

When ever I use go to on a star it is always a black circle. The only star that is not like this is the sun. Please help me with this.

  Please reinstall SN8.

  This is an issue that occurs when some of the maps are not installed properly.

  Also, make sure you are installing to the default location.

  I have reinstalled several times. Only Sol and its planets have maps....all other stars are black. I love this product but have not used it since 2001.
