The last three times I've tried to update, the update fail. For example, I have version 7.5.0.834. I get the message there's an update available when I start the program. I select "Download and Update Now". I get the Update Information window with the 7.5.0 release notes. I click "Update" and it seems the download starts and then the screen flashes and I get "An error ocurred, The update failed to install." I click on details .and get:
Patch failed to apply to this file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Starry Night Pro Plus 7\CrashSender1403.exe
Because that file failed to patch, and there's no "catch-all" update to download, the update failed to apply. The failure to patch usually happens because the file was modified from the original version. Reinstall the original version of this app.
Internal error: Exception of type 'System.Exception' was thrown.
The only changes I made to 7.5.0.834 was my location and oreintation to north. Nothing else! But I can download the whole installation file and it will install fine.
win7 Ultimate, 16gb memory, 400gb free drive space, 7.5.0.834 installed at the default location. GTX 760.
