[UX Issue]* [iOS] Highlighted Observing List Icon Hides OR Overlaps Time Controls

Observing menu overlaps time setting on sky safari pro 7 so that you can no longer access the time menu to change the time. I see this was noted in posts 1.5 years ago but not yet fixed, or fixed and has cropped up again. Tried posting an image but haven’t figured it out on the iPad or iPhone. Occurs on both iPhone and iPad. Terri.

I an seeing the same problem.  This prevents me backing up in time one increment at a time.  I attached two cropped screenshots from Sky Safari to show the problem.  I have Sky Safari 7 Pro, IOS 15.8.2, iPad Air 2.

I discovered how to fix this.  There is an option in the Observing menu that allows unhighlighting lists.  When lists are unhilighted the Observing menu disappears.

Hi all, this issue has been around for years. Un-highlighting the list isn’t a great solution for me. A workaround that can be found from prior years is to enable the Scope function button. My telescope does connect to sky safari but I have a feeling just clicking that option separates the two items on the screen. It’s surprising how long this issue has been around.

Activating the scope button will resolve this issue as a workaround.

I will ping developers again to look into this issue for the next app update.

    Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks, Keiron. Turning off highlighting lists is not good for me - nor likely activating the scope button. I am a visual observer mainly using a manual DOB. I’m using the observing lists while working Astronomical League Observing programs.
