LiveSky.com | Login Issue

I set up a LiveSky Account after installing SkySafari Pro 6.  All seems to be syncing between SkySafari 6 Pro on my iPhone and iPad via LiveSky but while I can log into my LiveSky account on my iPhone, I am unable to log in to LiveSky on my iPad.  I'm using Safari and accessing the link within SkySafari to reach the login page.  After entering my credentials and selecting "Login", it acts as if it is logging in before abruptly returning to the login screen again with the credential fields blank again.  Please advise.

    Hi Curt,

    Please always list:

    1. SS6 version number
    2. iOS version number
    3. iOS device model number.

    Please try rebooting your iPad and let's see if there may be some kind of cache issue preventing access.

    Thanks, Keiron - I did clear the cache in Safari and rebooted the iPad but still could not log in.  Ipad IOS and SS version details are below.

    1. SS6 version number - SS6 Pro, VER 6.0.1.25
    2. iOS version number - 9.3.5
    3. iOS device model number - MD366LL/A

    Keiron -- is there a conflict between SkySafari 6 Pro and the iPad/IOS version I use?

    Hi Curt, 

    Apologies for the slow reply.

    We recommend you reinstall the app on the iPad.  That will reset the local database in case that is the problem.

    I uninstalled and re-installed the app.  It now logs me in but aside from "LiveSky Premium" showing up in the top left corner and a tiny blue down arrow in the top right corner, nothing shows up on the screen,  When I select the down arrow, a drop-down menu appears: "Account", "Email & Password", "Import/Export", and "Logout" but selecting each of them doesn't show any response other than the drop-down menu disappearing.

    Thanks for the screenshots.  Please try logging in via the Safari incognito browser window.  Does it work like that?

    I discovered it's when I try signing in when Safari is set to "Private" is when the login simply reverts back to the same login screen (with blank username and password fields).  When I remove it from "Private" mode, the login is successful but it results in the screenshots above.

    And what if you try any browsers from Macbook OS X or Windows 10?

    I haven't tried using a browser on a Macbook or Windows 10.  I can log in without issue using IE 11 or Google Chrome on Windows 7 and via Safari on my iPhone 5s (IOS 11.2.5). 

    In addition to Safari on my iPad, I've also tried the Dolphin browser but get the same results.  Interestingly, I get the same "blank" screen when I log in to LiveSky on Windows 7 via Mozilla Firefox.  So it seems to only be the iPad I'm unable to find a way to view LiveSky.  

    Is there a another browser you know of that can be installed on my iPad that is compatible?

    Good, info, Curt!  I think you can make this work in Safari on iPad.  What are your cookies options?  Please have a read here:

    Maybe changing the cookies setting will help?

    Thanks for checking back in with me, Keiron.

    Cookies were enabled so I disabled cookies and tried again.  That didn't work so I re-enabled cookies, cleared History and other cached data such as passwords.  I closed Safari and rebooted the iPad.  When I tried again, I got the same thing - I'm logged in but nothing shows on the screen except for "LiveSky" in the top left corner and a small down arrow in the upper right corner.  Whereas before, I could get a drop-down menu from the arrow, I now get nothing when I tap on the arrow.  When I swipe down and "hold" it, I see the info that appears at the bottom of the screen when I access LiveSky on my PC through IE -- see screenshot below.

    I downloaded and installed Google Chrome -- I can log in but get the same thing as I do in Safari.
