What Is The ETA For SkySafari 6 on macOS? (Answer: Its Out Now!)

    Bill, this is great news!

    Two questions:
    - Will there be an introductory discount price as you did it for SS6 for iOS?
    - Will I be able to use my extended star database that I bought as an In-App purchase for SS6 for iOS also in Mac OS?

    1. Yes, the Mac version is half price for the first month after release (as always).

    2. Sorry no.  Apple just doesn't have any way to share purchases between iOS and Mac.

    I'll also mention that right now the in-app purchases are not working because they didn't get approved by Apple (our mistake, not their fault).  We have to wait for 6.0.2 next week to get them approved.

    SS 6 Pro 6.0.2b1 will not launch.

    Running 10.10.5 on a mid-2009 machine.

    Downloaded twice to be sure. Previous test versions have worked, but are slow to launch, usually taking over a minute.

    We are looking at it.  Seems like the betas weren't built with the correct app signing.
