Can Not Connect SkySafari Pro + SkyFi 3 + Servocat Gen 3

In order to be able to observe comfortably with my big Dobson 24 "and 28" I decided to use Servocat and Argo Navis.
On my Truss Newton 20 "F 4.15 I have Sky Safari Pro and Skyfi 3 successfully in operation.
However, I can not connect with Servocat, Skysafari Pro and Skyfi 3.

All have new Firmware
I only get a connection when the Argo Navis is turned on.
However, you can not use the virtual movement keys of the Planetarium program.
I have Sky Safari on my MacbookAir as well as on my Iphone.
Servocat would have to work without Argo Navis, right?

I would be very happy about your answers

You should ask Gary at StellarCAT about this.  There is nothing unusual about SkySafari.  You just have to understand how to control your system for an external program.

    this write Gary:

    Dieter,

I’m not a user of Sky Safari and don’t own any Apple products ... you might want to take this to the ServoCAT Yahoo group and ask the question there. I don’t remember how you select “ServoCAT with Argo Navis” ... but I seem to remember that was the selection.

You are using the Argo Navis with the ServoCAT – finishing an alignment first, and THEN connecting using Skifi/Sky Safari, correct?

As I said, this has nothing to do with SkySafari.  Ask him about the setup for controlling the system from a PC.  This is really about how you set up the ServoCAT/Argo system.

    Hi Bill,

my problem Servocat, and SkyFi is solved.
Prerequisite is that the Argo Navis must be connected and set the setting after calibration on "from planetarium". Then you can use Sky Safari Pro to execute GOTO commands.
I assumed that you can use the SkyFi without Argo Navis.
