I just installed Sky Safari 6 Plus for Mac OSX. I tried out the Orbit mode but after various attempts to leave that mode and go back to the night sky view, I had to reset my settings and start all over again. Clicking on the orbit Mode again does nothing, nor did I find anything in the menus for leaving orbit mode.
How does one do that?

When you are in Orbit mode there is an Earth icon at the bottom of the chart. Clicking it returns you to the normal view.

yes I just had to google this! that's a hidden exit. suggest you add the feature to exit orbit mode simply by clicking on the orbit button again. which i did dozens of times!

So, going on 2 years and not yet fixed. I just had the same problem, and since your help function does not allow searching (or, if it does, it is "hidden" like so many other SS functions), I had to Google the answer. That is really lame. Why not save app space and just remove "help"?
