I am trying to find an observing list containing all the alignment stars available in a SynScan v4 hand controller. Does anyone know if the observing list available online and labelled Skywatcher Synscan Alignment Stars is match to v4 of the hand controller firmware?

There s a "Skywatcher Synscan Alignment Stars" list in the online repository. You can get to this from other SkySafari5 or SkySafari 6. In SS6, show the observing list from the Observe button and scroll to the bottom to access the "Import From Online Repository" button. In SS5, the button is at the bottom of the Search list.
