Can you please fix a small bug in SkySafari 6 Mac: when I right-click on an object and request information, it hides the information panel instead of showing it!!
So instead of your code toggling the info panel, it should show the info panel. With this fix it will be much nicer to go from star to star looking at object info.

I agree this is a bug and it should not toggle. However, if you just select the second object, the object info is automatically shown if you already have the panel open. You don't need to use the right click at all.
So it is a bug (and we will fix it), but I don't see that it prevents you from doing what you want to do.
Thanks Bill - quite right. It was much more of a problem when I was not able to select! A new mouse pad has helped by the way.
PS: right-clicking and selecting object info etc. should select the object as well. I found that it does not. I'm not at my computer now to test, but I recall there being a confusing situation with one object selected, but info for another displayed. Not sure but maybe you could look into that as well.
