Jean-Claude,
This is not something you can really do yourself. However, we can probably make the changes on the server for you. May I ask what you are trying to accomplish?
Hi Bill,
I know that it may seem to be against the stream, but I am reluctant to rely completely on a "cloud" storage of my data.
An error on one device can jam everything on the other devices with no possibility of restoring.
Because it's not possible to backup the data on a disk, I thought I could copy them to another account as a safety.
We back up the database daily. I doubt we will get in a situation where things can't get recovered. We have not has any data loss in the year we have been using this.
Bill, I was talking about a damage of my settings (equipment, observing lists etc..) caused by myself !
How can I restore them ? Where are the backups accessible by the end-user ?
Jean-Claude, I think this is as simple as login your LiveSky account.
That's the way I understand it.
I have 2 Android tablets, SNP8, LiveSky account and 1 Android emulator for SkySafari on my desktop and everything share the data the firts time I login my account.
Bill can correct me or complete the answer.
Hope it will help!
Gervais
Jean-Claude,
You would have to ask us to do the restore.
Gervais,
Jean-Claude is concerned about himself accidentally deleting all his data (or dome other major screw-up). I think he understands that LiveSky holds a copy of all his data.
" I think he understands that LiveSky holds a copy of all his data."
Thanks to you ... and I wish you a Happy 2019. Cheers.
