When you customize the install for Starry Night Pro Pus 8 for Mac, there are no options to download additional data, like there is in the Windows version or both versions for v7. The Customize screen is blank.

Unfortunately, the Mac offline data installers could not be ready for initial release. We will get prepared asap. Do you have SN7 offline data installed? If so, it may be possible to copy the data from SN7 prefs to the SN8 prefs. However, I have to test this first. I'll post back here once I know.

Dale Reeck That's OK, I can wait. I like downloading all the data, in case I am not near internet connectivity, which isn't too often.

Dale Reeck Another question, is the data in the Windows version of SN8 ProgramData\Sim Curr\SN Pref\Sky Data folder the same for the Mac? If I remember correctly, it is. On the Mac, what is the directory location? It was something like Library\Application Support\Starry Night or Simulation Curr or something like that. I forgot if it went in the user library folder, or the root library.
