This might be the same as a previous post.
In SN7 I could right click to bring up a list that included an "add fov indicator". That option is not there with SN8. I can't find any other way to do this.

There is 2 ways I know of. Go to menu Observe - FOV Indicators. Click the new button. Optionally, the right hand side panel bring up FOV indicators. The 3 horizontal lines next to customer FOV or telescope is a menu and from there you can add.
Thank you Shawn. I've tried both of your suggestions. In both cases they create a new FOV at screen center. It stays at screen center. I'm wanting a way of creating an FOV that stays with the location as the sky moves (as is the case in SN7 with a right click anywhere on the screen). Am I missing something that you're aware of?
Sorry for my misunderstanding. You meant static FOV.
Thanks anyway Shawn for the info.
