When moving with the earth beside the sun side, the location is shown as "Outside Earth's orbit from 12756.3 km". When moving with the earth on the dark side, the location is shown as "Inside Earth's orbit from 12756.3 km". Don't you have to be inside the earth's orbit to see the whole sunny side from that distance and outside to see the dark side? See the snapshots below. The other planets seem to be similarly confused.
