Will I Lose My Data If I Downgrade From A Premium Subscription To A Free Basic Subscription? (Answer: No, Read On!)

After upgrading to Sky Safari 6 - my third or fourth version, I subscribed to Live Sky hoping it would help resolve a long standing short coming of the observing record aspect of the software, i.e. an observation cannot be saved simultaneously to all relevant observing programs.  Unfortunately it did not solve the problem.  So I cancelled my subscription when it came do.  Problem is the result was to remove all my data and all my observing lists.  Years of work.  I was not informed or warned of this potential.  I have written twice now about how we might address this and heard nothing.  Please advise.  Thanks

    Hi Bruce, 

    You just need to login again to your LiveSky account.  No data has been lost.  You can access, read and export all your data via the free basic LiveSky account.

    Keiron, if I try to log on to live sky from my program it says my ID does not match my password.  Not sure how that can be as the later is saved in my key manager, but anyway, if I use change my password, nothing ever arrives in my email.  It is clear tonight, sure would be good to have my data back.  Please advise. BTW, I can't reply to your emails as if I click on the visit forum link and try to sign into the forum i get a have to enable cookies message. I am not set to block cookies and if I click the link provided to enable cookies anyway, I get a black page. Safari is just not compatible with your forum. So I have to use chrome and then hunt this exchange down.  Please consider just emailing me straight if you can.  thanks.

    Actually, I will just leave this page open in chrome so reply as you wish.

    Hi Bruce, 

    Please use a different browser to visit LiveSky.com and reset your password.  I have tested on Chrome/Firefox/Safari, all on macOS, and password reset works fine.
