Keiron Smith Hi Riccardo,
SkySafari & Starry Night do not officially support a direct WiFi connection to the Avalon M-Zero built-in WiFi. Perhaps another community user will be able to assist with a connection.
Thanks for posting in the community forums.

Gaetano Vocca Hi,
as far as I can understand, Riballe is writing that the USB connection is not working, the wireless one is. This my very same situation, SSP doesn’t connect to my Avalon Linear via USB but works via WiFi. Avalon mounts use a dialect of LX200 protocol.
I really hope that the developers of SSP can fix this problem, it is a bit annoying.
Thank you
Gaetano

Riballe Exactly Gaetano, the wifi connection works, the usb does not

Riballe The lack of consintency in the usb connection with the StaGo is also halting my interest in SN8 :(

Gaetano Vocca Sure thing!
A couple of days ago I opened a similar thread about my Linear and SkySafari Pro and yesterday it was transformed into a "Request", I hope we will get an answer in short. In the meanwhile, I am thinking of posting about this problem on Avalon support forum, to let them know. Testing with another planetarium was successful so I am afraid that the problem is on SkySafari Pro.

Kris Delcourte I read above in a post from Gaetano: "Avalon mounts use a dialect of LX200 protocol." . Does that mean that I have to select LX200 in the "Scope List" in the set up of SkySafari? Avalon is not in the scope list.
Thanks,
Kris
