Sky Safari Pro 6.6.2 Freezes At Startup (Answer: Fixed In 6.6.3 Update)

Since the last update (6.6.2), SkySafari freezes immediately after the startup screen disappears and the star map is shown. After this, no interaction is possible anymore. Several reboots and reinstallations didn't solve the problem. I'm using an iPhone XR with iOS 13.3.

Any ideas?

  Hi Andreas, can you tell us what device and operating system you are using?

   

  Also, does SkySafari "wake up" eventually (seconds or minutes later)?

  Hi Ros,

  the application will be closed automatically after approx. one minute.

  Meanwhile I found a workaround. SkySafari can be started, when I change the iOS language settings from German to English.

  Let's hope, that there will be a bugfix soon.

  after the last update to version 6.6.3, the issue has been solved. 

  The app works again as expected :-)
