Why does my SkyFi keep dropping connections?

My SkyFi keeps dropping connections with my telescope.  My scope is a StellarCat ServoCat, Alt-Az GoTo using an Argo Navis.

It doesn't matter if I use my MacBook Air running the latest SkySafari Pro 6 version 6.4.0 and MacOs Catalina version 10.13.3 or if I use my iPad Air2 with  iOS version 13.3.1 and SkySafari Pro 6 version 6.6.4

I replaced my original SkyFi with a recently purchased new SkyFi 3.  Same problem.

I have replaced the ServoCat USB  serial adapter with a new unit.  I have replace the PC cable running into the ServoCat with a new cable.  The problem persists.

I am able to initially connect to my scope.  I am able to slew to an object.  I am able to fine tune the pointing using the controller.  But after a few minutes the WIFI connection drops and I am asked if I want to reconnect.  Sometimes the reconnection works.  Eventually I get an error message stating the WIFI connection cannot be made.

I have been a satisfied SkyFi user for seven since I purchased my original unit.  This recent problem simply baffles me.

I was able to test the SkyFi 3 with my iPad Air last night and it held connection.  It appears my problem is confined to my MacBook Air with MacOs Catalina.
