If you do not see "Connect & Align" then you have not selected ScopeType: Celestron WiFi
The SkyPortal app can ONLY connect to Celestron WiFi, and so that is why it successfully connects every time.
SkySafari 6 Pro can connect tons of different scopes, so the type of connection must be specified in ScopeType.
Please check, confirm, and reply with your result.

Celestron NexStar GPS/SLT/SE. I changed it to Celestron Wi-Fi, will try it and get back to you. Thanks so much.

joe arcara No, I stupidly misunderstood it! I thought he he was referring to the wifi connection. I posted him this morning about my error and thanked him.
