Why do I have to click the Starry Night Taskbar icon three times, instead of the usual once, to get the Starry Night window to come to the front?

Keiron Smith You can see all the options I have selected for in the right side pane. Have you checked to confirm you have the same?

Keiron Smith Did you search for M13? Search "M13", and from the results, choose to "Center" and then "Magnify" M13.

Jim No, I didn't do that because that assumes I already know the name of the object I am looking for. What I wanted to do was search an area of sky and see what objects are there. Unfortunately SN 8 doesn't seem to be able to do this.
No matter. Please close this issue. I have requested a refund of my purchase.
