Paul Skee I have this same issue. Just installed 6 Pro, had 5 plus without this issue. Am going to follow this posting.

Omar Veliz-Chavez I have the Skysafari 6 Pro on iOS, and if I can see the comet. But I just bought Skysafari 6 Pro on MacOSX, especially to see the comet and nothing appears.

Stefanie Weßler Yesterday I installed SkySafari Basic on iOS, that version was showing Neowise C/2020 F3 just fine. Today I upgraded to SkySafari 6 Pro and no neowise at all :(
Am also going to follow here. -
Keiron Smith - Settings > Solar System > Update Minor Orbit Data
- Search > Brightest Comets > sort by visual magnitude
What happens?
-
Stefanie Weßler Keiron Smith unfortunately: nothing. SkySafari shows a message that states that no new elements were downloaded. Afterwards in the brightest comets section there is still no Neowise C/2020 F3 :(
Update: I retried the update of the database two times. With the third update, there was a download - and now Neowise is showing.
Thanks a lot for your help!

Keiron Smith Weird, Stefanie! Great result! Enjoy NeoWise!

Stefanie Weßler As weird as it was - it finally solved the problem. So, again thanks for your help - hopefully we'll have another night with a clear sky!

Omar Veliz-Chavez In my case, the comet Neowise C / 2020 F3 has not yet appeared. I have it updated and I tried its indications and nothing.
For example the C / 2019 U6 does not appear.

David Wagner Exactly the same problem. SkySafari 6 Pro 6.5.0 (6520) running on IMac (late 2015) with El Capitan 10.11.6. Have tried all the solutions I can find and nothing is working. Updating the orbital elements shows last update in March of this year, and I get the message that nothing was downloaded (see Omar's post above). Frustrating!!

Dean To all those running Mac OS 10.11.6 (El Capitan); there is a bug in SkySafari that prevents it from updating the orbital data in that version of the OS.
