Recently the iOS version of SkySafari Pro includes a guide chip field in the FOV settings.
This is a useful feature to help locate candidate guide stars during an astrophotography session.
This feature has also been implemented recently in StarryNight Pro Plus 8.
I was awaiting the same for SkySafari 6 Pro.
Do you intend to update it in a near future ?

I am running the latest version of SkySafari 6 Pro (version 6.7.2) on macOS Mojave 10.14
The GUIDE CHIPS field is still missing in the Field of View panel of the macOS version.
In the iOS version, the GUIDE CHIPS field is NOT missing !
In Starry Night Pro Plus 8, the GUIDE CHIPS field is NOT missing !
The GUIDE CHIPS field is still only missing in the macOS version.
I wonder if the SkySafari developers read the forum from time to time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the delay in implementing this feature. It has been implemented in code and will be released with a new version of SkySafari for macOS shortly.
