I could not find any way to connect SkySafari 6 Pro to Temma 2M mount via RS-232C cable that came with the mount. I acquired SkySafari 6 Pro through Apple Store a week ago and very new to the app. Do I need SkyWire any other way to communicate?

Keiron Smith Hi Simon,
You need our SkyFi 3:
SkyWire is no longer available.
Thanks!

Keiron Smith If you are using SkySafari 6 Pro on macOS you should be able to connect from your Mac to your Temma 2M via
- USB-to-Serial cable
- RS232 cable
Mac -> USB-to-Serial -> RS232 -> Temma 2M
OR (definitely be able to connect from Mac via)
- SkyFi 3
Mac -> SkyFi 3 -> RS232 -> Temma 2M
If you are using SkySafari 6 Pro on iOS you must connect from your iPhone/iPad to your Temma 2M via
- SkyFi 3
iOS -> SkyFi 3 -> RS232 -> Temma 2M

Simon Saw Hi Keiron,
Many thanks for the reply. As per your 2nd reply, I run SkySafari 6 Pro on MacOS Mojave. I used RS-232 cable connection between my MacBook Pro and Takahashi EM-200 Temma 2M mount without SkyFi 3. But connection error popped up every time I tried to press connect button. I also do not know which connection option to choose in Communication setting. Please could you advise for setting up in SkySafari 6 Pro.
Thank you in advance.

Keiron Smith If you are using a USB-to-Serial cable + RS232 then you need to have the specific MacOS Mojave USB-to-Serial driver installed. If the correct driver is installed then under Connection Type you will see an option for "USBserial".
If you do not see USBserial then you do not have the correct driver installed.
Also, scope must be star-aligned BEFORE trying to connect with SkySafari.
If further assistance is required please confirm the above and attach a screenshot of the error message.
Thanks!

Simon Saw Hi Keiron,
Thank you so much for the advice. I will find and install the USBserial driver and test as per your advice. Then, I will update the outcome.
Best regards,
Simon

Simon Saw Hi Keiron,
I finally got a USB to RS232 Connector that came with its own firmware yesterday. And, my MacBook Pro was finally able to communicate with Tak EM-200 Temma 2M mount. Please see the screenshots below. Before that I have tried a firmware/driver from internet without success.
Thank you
