Why Can't I upload PNG images? (Answer: PNGs/JPGs Must Be Less Thank 2MB To Upload)

There seems to be a problem with the forum: I am not able to upload a screenshot in PNG format with a size of 356kB: the image is displayed for a few seconds and disappears. An error message is visible: The image size have to be < 2MB

After converting the screenshot to JPG file format it works. There seems to be some problem handling PNG images...

  If the PNG or JPG is 2MB or more then it will be rejected.

  yes, that‘s clear. But the size of my PNG file was only 356kB and your BB system rejects it...
