How To Fix Error Message "The Planet Data File Could Not Be Found. Try Reinstalling From Original Disks"?

Just installed Starry Night Orion SE. When I double click the executable the app starts to load with a splash screen, which says;

"loading Disk Layers..."
Version 8.1.0.2059 keEW 

Then a popup with the message "The planet data file could not be found. Try reinstalling from original disks." and an option to Quit only.

Presently running Win 10 Pro.
Version 2004 

OS BUILD 19041.572

  Please try right-click and choosing Run as Admin.

  Same results when choosing to Run as Admin.  Quits at startup and says I need to reinstall from disk.  Given it's a download link and i'm worried about losing my code.  Is there a file or map I should look for in the install directory to see if it actually exists?

  Please provide the following info:

  1. Starry Night program name and version number.
  2. Operating system
  3. Screenshot of the error message with the desktop in the background for content.

  Please do the following:

  1. Delete SN8.
  2. Download a new SN8 installer.  Make sure you download via high-speed.
  3. Install again.

  I think the installer was corrupted during the download process.

  What i mean by that, for clarity, is i removed all starry night from the pc . researched my registration and went back to original email for the download and reinstalled it...

  let me know if i need to do it differently. I tried my old download code and that didnt let me do anything so that is the only way i had to do it. thanks
