How Come Starry Night Pro 8 Will Not Start On My Up-To-Spec Windows 10 Computer? (Answer: Read On!)

The program does not start and does not display an error message. It ends with the phase "Finishing initializon ..." My drivers are up to date, the PC configuration is many times higher than the requirements Software, I reinstalled the software.

I don't know what to do with it: /

    Please provide the following information:

     

    1. The graphics card.

     

    In Windows 10 ---> Right click on Windows Icon/Start button---> Go to "Run" ---> type "dxdiag" in the search field and hit return. ---> On the DirectX panel that opens up look under the Display tab for "Device" <--- what it says here will be the graphics card.

     

    1. System Information.

     

    In Windows 10 ---> Right click on Windows Icon/Start button---> Go to "Run" ---> type "dxdiag" in the search field and hit return. ---> On the DirectX panel that opens up look under the System tab for "Operating System" <--- what it says here will be the OS info. Note if its Pro, Home, etc. Also, and 32 or 64 bit.

     

    1. The manufacturer and model of your computer (additional model information may be found on a sticker under your computer)

     

    In Windows 10 ---> Right click on Windows Icon/Start button---> Go to "Run" ---> type "dxdiag" in the search field and hit return. ---> On the DirectX panel that opens up look under the System tab for "System Model" <--- what it says here will be the model info.

    I built the computer myself, I don't know exactly what you need for information. MB is ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING, Procesor Intel i9 10900K, 64GB RAM, Video card GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB RAM

    I sent you a complete dxdiag statement to your email plus a record from the HW Info software

    1. Did you install to the default pathway?
    2. Are running any security/antivirus software?  If so, please add Starry Night to the exemption list.
    3. Confirm you have installed the latest drivers from Nvidia.
    4. Try right-click Run as Admin.
    5. Try uninstall and reinstall.

    Yes, your system is up to spec.  Sorry, I don't see why the Starry Night is not running, nothing obvious.
