[StartUp]* SkySafari Fails To Run On Android (UI But No Stars)

i redownloaded sky safari 6 pro just to be sure and it still doesn't work.  app flashes the screen and refuses to open, then if it does open, i have just a black screen with the UI overlay, (NO STARS, GRID)

  I'm guessing the problem is Android 5, which came out November of 2014 and is now 6 versions behind.  
  
  Per the SkySafari help I found online, here are the system requirements:

  1. What Android OS version do you require? What are your hardware requirements?

     SkySafari for Android requires Android version 4.0 or later, running on an Android phone or table with a 1 GHz or faster processor. It may run on slower devices, but performance will be extremely sluggish.

     SkySafari requires a Google Play account, and will not run on devices which do not have Google Play access

  I'm guessing this may no longer be accurate.

  it is old, and the highest the tablet will allow.  tablet has an amazing oled screen, thus makes it perfect for night vision (no backlight bleed).

   was working as of the audio tour bug. 

  i hope im still covered here as the program was bought based on the requirements.

  SkySafari 6 has been refactored in recent weeks, it is possible it is not going to work on Android 5.1.  

  If you don't have another Android device to try, to test, then I can issue a refund. 

  Please let me know what you want to do.

  Also, when the app is in that state can you still navigate through the settings, making changes to different options?

  install stalls after   18.50mb/1.87GB 0%

  does not install, it got up to 225mb then stopped   i have space, and good connection

  l deleted, let it alone for a day or so and retried. the app downloaded and works! thanks dudes and dudettes
