Error Message: Application Was Unable To Start Correctly 0xc00007b (Answer: Select High Powered Graphics Cards)

Hi all,

after installation i get the message "application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b" and there is not even the prompt for User Name and Registration Number.
Re-Install as admin does not help. Any idea?

System is Windows 10, 64-bit, Version 21H1

Thanks in advance,

Marco

    Marco,

    Please provide the following information:

    1. The graphics card.

In Windows 10 ---> Right click on Windows Icon/Start button---> Go to "Run" ---> type "dxdiag" in the search field and hit return. ---> On the DirectX panel that opens up look under the Display tab for "Device" <--- what it says here will be the graphics card.

    1. The manufacturer and model of your computer (additional model information may be found on a sticker under your computer)

In Windows 10 ---> Right click on Windows Icon/Start button---> Go to "Run" ---> type "dxdiag" in the search field and hit return. ---> On the DirectX panel that opens up look under the System tab for "System Model" <--- what it says here will be the model info.

    additional information:

I had a system crash, and after a system reset, the problem with "Application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b" started. On other computers, the installation and the app works.

Since you have 2 graphics cards, have you tried running SN8 using both?  Right-click on the SN8 desktop shortcut icon to choose the graphics cards.

Also, try reinstalling your graphics card driver.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

sorry for the delay, I've been on holidays ...

Unfortunately I can't choose the graphics by right-click on the shortcut of SN8. Is there a trick?

I also tried to update alle the drivers of the graphics - no result. I think it's a safety issue since the program doesnt work after a system crash. Even the registration prompt does not pop up anymore after re-installation. I dont know what to do, need a new system?

    Thanks anyway!
