Just transferred over from SS 6 Pro to 7 Pro and found that the FOV rectangles I have for my scopes/cameras aren't visible unless I connect to the telescope (with the demo), and then they appear. I've tried clicking the FOV switch a few times, opening and closing the app each time, etc. Nuthin'. I'm so used to centering on a target in my observing list to see how it looks in my scope/camera, that these extra steps are a pain. What am I missing here (because I'm sure it's human error)? I'm using an iPhone 12 mini with iOS 15.1. Thanks!

Keiron Smith Mark,
Please enable "Show Even If Not Connect To Telescope".
Thanks!

Chris Hey Keiron
I was thinking these options under the filter icon were going to be moved back to the higher level menu, where they've been previously. I imagine lots of users will have trouble finding this.

Keiron Smith I agree, not easy to find.
[UX Issue]* Scope Display Options Are Hidden Behind Filter Button
But, developers know. And, since this has not been changed there must be a reason for keeping it like this.
I'll ping Pedro to review this again.
Thanks, Chris!

Pedro Braganca Hi Chris, we moved most of the options in the panels to their own view after consulting with a professional UX designer. Most panels in v7 (Sessions, Observing Lists, Events etc) have the filter/sort view button. Scope display has the scope options button. I do imagine some users might not know where these options are initially, but once you know they are there - and since most views have them - it should become second nature after a little while. The advantage is that your FOV indicators are always front and center - and these settings are never pushed below the screen view if you have many fov indicators. Thank you.
